Product Description
This odd seatpost had many purposes when it came out in the early/mid 80's. It came on many early mountain bikes, and was one of the first true "layback" posts made giving the stretchy geometries needed for these frames. Bike shops used them as fitting devices. Tri racers love them for the precise adjustments possible to get the perfect fit.
