Killer 29er XC / All Mountain wheelset at a steal of a price. Giant uses this wheelset stock on it's higher end Anthem 29 and Trance 29 bikes (0 and 1 bikes), which range from $2900 up to $5000. They're lightweight, wide, stiff, and bombproof. Plus, they're tubeless ready (with Stans sealant/strips)! A wheelset of this caliber usually retails around $500.
The rims are 19mm wide at the inner bead, providing for lots of tire volume and a large contact patch (read: traction galore!). Rims feature a bead lock, which secures the tire bead in place when used as tubeless. Rim profiles are 24mm deep, which allows for a shorter spoke (and great looks!) This provides a lower weight and greater stiffness than a standard rim.
