World's First EVER Carbon Crankset: ZIPP CA380!
I scored this gem out of a local bike shop in Sedona Arizona on a big 1500 mile road trip in 2012. They were produced in 1997 and 1998, and retailed for a hefty $550. The crank arms were completely hollow, which was unheard of in those days. And look at that spider! ZIPP told me they made less than 200 of these. This pair was as mint as they come and looked barely ridden. I sold them for $600 to a collector in Australia!
