Vintage Phil Wood Tandem Rear DISC Hub: 140mm, 48H, Flip-Flop, Low Flange, Stainless Steel, Bolt on 1970's NM
This hub is designed for a Phil Wood disc brake (the second set of threads is for the disc pawl). It can be used as a regular tandem wheel with rim brakes as well. It is a pre-1978 tandem hub featuring a stainless steel center shell, and bolt on design. Super rare hub that sold for almost $400 in the late 80's and early 90's!
Near mint lightly used shape. The bearings feel buttery smooth and perfect. Center shell looks amazing. Flanges just have minor spoke wear.
