THM Fibia Stem Prototype #3: DISPLAY ONLY - 120mm - 88 Grams! (MINT)
***This is an early prototype, and it is NOT SAFE TO RIDE***
Is this peak stem technology? A 120mm stem that weighs only 88 grams and tests to be uber stiff. Plus, it's snakeskin scale finish is out of this world. It retails at a wicked $550, and is hard to find in stock.
This #3 prototype was unveiled to the world by Bike Radar in 2016. They had both the third and 6th prototypes in their hands, and you can confirm on that link the "PO3" decal on the bottom. I acquired this from a pro tour mechanic who confirmed it's a prototype and was told by THM at a trade show that the carbon in the clamp had not been optimized and shouldn't be trusted. THM wrote on the bottom in white marker "Display only! Please do not ride". Please follow these warnings, as I or Bike Recyclery will NOT be liable. This will be a rad piece for a weight-weenie display bike, or a bicycle history display case in your shop.
This stem is unridden, and very close to mint cosmetically with only one clearcoat scuff near the clamp. See above warnings that it is NOT SAFE TO RIDE. This stem will be sold "as-is" with zero refunds for any reason.
