Tales From The Road: St. Louis at Xmas

Posted by Justin on

Well, I've made two trips back to my hometown of St. Louis in the last month.  And I've brought back a ridiculous amount of bike parts.  I acquired a bunch of the usual goodies from Campagnolo, Suntour, Shimano etc.  And some 90's parts like MR2 Racer Orb pedals and Coda Magic Motorcycle cranks.  But, I've branched out to some pre-war components too!  I'm learning about these as I go.

NIB Simplex Route Leger, Super Champion & Lautaret derailleurs, Benelux derailleurs and suicide shifter, Williams cottered crank

Reynolds Girder stem, Simplex SLJ, vintage Lautawasser handlebars, NOS Maxicar track hubs, early Raleigh quill

Sturmey Archer FW 49' four speed hub/shifter, BSA 3 speed shifter, Syncro Switch shifter, Lytaloy brakes/levers, Harden hub, Airlite hub, old headset top, TA/Stronglight cranks

Salsa dirt drop stem, Suntour Superbe Tech, Control Tech cantilever brakes, SRP Mr. Grumpy brakes, Softride gold

Phil Wood High-Low rear hub
