This appears to be a standard Sampson Stratics bottom bracket, but it has plastic bushings instead of cartridge bearings. The bearings fit perfectly into the cup, and spin very smoothly even without grease. Standard cartridge bearings could be installed in place of the bushings if desired.
Sampson made some fine bottom brackets in the 1990's. This Stratics model was their nicer one, while the Colorado was their lower priced model. The spindle is machined to save weight, while remaining super stiff.
Great shape. Drive side cup has some chrome peeling on the outside face. Spindle in great shape, as are the bushings.
