Sampson made some fine bottom brackets in the 1990's. This Stratics model was their nicer one, while the Colorado was their lower priced model. The spindle is machined to save weight, while remaining super stiff. This is an adjustable design, with adjustable cups on both sides. Great for adjusting chainlines. Would be a nice fit in the Sampson Titanium road bike frame we're selling! (see below)
Condition: Great shape. Bearings are smooth with no play. Maybe just slightly rough. The outside of the cups have a bit of tarnishing, but could be polished to shine up nicely. Lockrings in great shape.
