Regina Futura Freewheel Set, in Wooden Display Box! 6-speed
A nice piece from the 1980's, the tail end of bicycle components coming in fancy display cases! This 6 speed freewheel kit includes one body, and 3 separate cogsets. The body threads on to your wheel like a standard freewheel, and the cog sets can be installed/removed BY HAND! This allows swapping gear ratios with no tools, and even on the road! The quality is similar to other high end Regina freewheels, like the America. The cog blocks are machined from a single piece of billet aluminum, just like Sram Red and Campagnolo Super Record cassettes of today! The wooden box is quite nice. Tongue and groove construction, with quality metal latches. Great as a display piece for your bike shop or mantle!
The kit includes:
- 1 thread on freewheel body
- 1 freewheel removal tool (works on most Regina, Zeus, etc freewheels)
- Large cog block: 14-24t
- Medium cog block: 13-21t
- Small cog block: 13-18t
Condition: The freewheel body is in excellent shape with no signs of wear. Spins great! Large and medium cog blocks have been used and show finish wear, but no cog wear. Small cog block appears unused, with only minor finish wear from storage/age. Box is in very good shape, but has a few scratches. Very low miles overall.
