NOS 36H Vintage 700c Wheelset: Campagnolo Nuovo Record High Flange Hubs & H+Son TB14 Polished Box Section Rims: 120mm Spacing - Flat Blade QR Skewers - Clincher
This unique retro/modern wheelset is perfect for the vintage bike you want to ride, as the H Plus Son TB-14 rims look classic but have the performance and strength of the best modern alloy rims plus their invisible weld technology so you'll never feel it while braking. They are box section and feature a high polish throughout, with no decals to muddy up the look. Spokes, nipples, eyelets, and the rivet holding the valve plate are nickel. The only branding is the metal plate around the valve hole, in the style of the 1970's/1980's Ambrosio Excellence TQB rims. They're even appropriate for period correct show bikes that need a little more shine than the vintage rims.
Condition
New old stock hubs/skewers laced to brand new rims/spokes. They haven't even been mounted since being built last year. Hubs are pristine, buttery smooth, well adjusted. There is some microscratching like all these have, but its very minor and what you expect from NIB NR hubs. Skewers are very close to pristine, just a few light scuffs on a cam end. Rims show zero brake marks, though the highly polished finish has some lightly hazy spots. There is one little spot of shop wear in the form of some rim edge scuff/scratch at the top near tire bead. (shown in pics). So, they are not absolutely pristine and untouched, but they're close.
