NIB/NOS Shimano Dura Ace FC-7400 Crankset: 170mm, 52/42t
The 7400 crank is a favorite for 1980's high end road bikes with Japanese components. While it is simple in appearance, it is a workhorse that will last eons and stay looking nice. The Dura Ace logo on the arms is smartly engraved, and will not wear off with heel rub. The name of the game is sharp angles, and this crank has plenty of them. These were made from 1985-1988, when the nearly identical FC-7402 took over. These are VERY rare to find NOS/NIB.
The finish has some serious color to it. At different angles, it shows hues of soft pink, blue, and green. Many 7400 series cranks have some of this color, which must be an after-affect of the anodizing process. But this one is MUCH more pronounced and bright than most. Most have just a hint of color, while this one is almost full blown chameleon affect.
Includes the original Dura Ace dust caps and TL-FC20 spanner wrench for chainring bolts and dust caps, as well as a 5mm allen key for chainring bolts.
Brand new in original box. Never installed. Practically perfect with a few VERY light marks of shopwear if you look hard. Box is in excellent condition.
