NIB/NOS Mafac Course 529 GOLD Brake Levers: Drilled - Cables/Housing (MINT)
These rad gold anodized levers from the 1970's and early 1980's were Mafac's top shelf lever. They are the same as the venerable 429 levers, just with gold plating. These have their original and pristine hoods, barrel adjusters, and rubber cover for the barrels. They also include the set of brake cables and white housing that came with them from the factory. Almost as cool as the levers themselves, this box features an illustration of their flagship Racer centerpull brake.
New in original retail display box! Levers are mint, hoods are mint and supple with no dryness/cracking. Cable housing has a few discolored spots, but otherwise the cables/housing are near mint.
- Model: Course 529
- Alloy bodies (FYI velobase has the models switched. The 529 has alloy bodies and the 519 has derlin plastic bodies)
- Dark tan/brown hoods
