These old Kooka stems are VERY hard to find, especially in decent condition. Kooka was a small time maker of high end CNC'd bike parts in the 1990's. Not many of these were made, and even fewer survived the rigors of mountain biking. The name "Kooka" is short hand for an Australian bird called the Kookaburra.
Condition: Great condition, with just a few blemishes. The top of the stem has a circle that is a little darker than the rest of the stem. Looks like a sticker was there at one point, and that spot was protected from fading. The very rear of the stem behind the steerer has a couple small wear spots in the anodizing. Other than that, just very minor marks here and there. This would be perfectly at home on a show bike or a rider.
