Early version of the famously bombproof Record 2 bolt seatpost. These were made from 1969 through the mid 80's. The earliest versions (like this one) lacked the limit lines (minimum insertion lines). Best guess is these started being added in 1973 when a slew of safety mandates were released. The 2 bolt clamp on these posts are superbe! They allow extremely fine saddle angle adjustment, as well as fore/aft rail adjustments without adjusting angle (by loosening only ONE bolt). May not be the lightest post out there, but you will NOT break it! It'll last forever.
Markings: The Campagnolo "World" logo is near the top, with " Patent Campagnolo" and 26.6 on the opposite side. NO limit lines.
Condition: Great shape, with a nice polish. Clamp looks amazing. The shaft does have some scratches, but they don't look too bad. No insertion marks.
