Product Description
Campagnolo Nuovo Record BMX Crank Arms: 806/BMX - Silver - 175mm - RARE (Near MINT)
Cleqn example of a very rare old school BMX crank from 1980. These were released only in 1980 and 1981, maybe 1982. These arms have been refinished in matte silver, and you can see remnants of the original blue anodizing in the tapers, pedal threads, and chainring bolt flanges.
The BMX version of the NR/SR cranks have a couple differences between the standard Strada and Pista cranks, although they are still marked "Strada". The silver color is more satiny/flat than the more polished straight silver of the road/track arms. Second, the spider arms only have lips for one 3/32" chainring, where the road cranks have dual lips and the pista has one lip for a 1/8" ring.
Condition
EXC to near mint restored condition! The finish is much nicer in person than it shows in the photos. The little pinpoint finish marks you see on these arms are exaggerated in the photos, in person they are barely noticeable. Arm ends show zero or almost zero scrapes. The drive arm has some scratches on/near the flute close to the logo (these are NOT cracks). No gouges or chips. These are almost show worthy
