1950's GB All-Rounder Upright Touring Handlebar: RARE - 25.4mm x 525mm (EXC+)
This upright swept back townie / touring bar was made famous by Sheldon Brown on his modified Peugeot PX-3. They were made in the 1950's and possibly into the early 1960's, and are very rare. They are somewhat similar to the 1980's Cinelli Pope / Priest handlebars! They have a little bit of sweep, and a little bit of rise/drop. One side of the bar is stamped with the GB logo (GB stands for Gary Burgess, the 1930's racer who started the company) the other side is stamped "20180" which may have been the model number.
These are super cool alternatives to moustache and north roads bars for turning old road and mountain bikes into city bikes and fast casual bikes.
Excellent lightly used shape. There is some light scratching, but zero damage or crimping. Clamp area is solid.
- Width: 525mm
